Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Story Makers AI app and website (the "Service"), operated by Polyque Games Yazılım Animasyon Prodüksiyon Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("Polyque", "we", "us"), Küçükbakkalköy Mah. Selvili Sk. No: 4 İç Kapı No: 20, Ataşehir, 34750 İstanbul, Türkiye. By using the Service you agree to them. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if these terms conflict with it, the stricter consumer protection prevails.

1. The Service

Story Makers AI helps you turn story ideas into short vertical videos using artificial intelligence: it writes hooks and scripts, creates AI voice-overs, captions, covers and animated videos. AI output can be unexpected, inaccurate or similar to content created for other users. Review it before you publish.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Service. Creating and downloading videos requires signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to create or share content that:

• is sexual, or sexualises or endangers minors in any way;
• harasses, threatens or promotes hatred against people or groups;
• contains graphic gore or encourages self-harm or suicide;
• defames, impersonates or harasses real, identifiable people;
• gives instructions for crimes, weapons or drugs, or infringes someone else's rights.

We use automated moderation and you can report content inside the app. We may refuse to create content, remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. Your content

You keep the rights you have in the ideas and text you enter. Subject to these terms and to the rights of third parties, you may use the videos created for you for personal and commercial purposes, including posting them on social media. Videos created during a free trial carry a small Story Makers AI watermark that you must not remove.

Stories created from the guided questions (not from your own free-text idea) may be reused, without any link to your account, as ready-made stories for other users. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, adapt and offer such stories within the Service. Stories built from your own written idea stay private to your account.

5. Subscriptions, video packs and credits

• Plans. Creator Weekly (5 videos per week), Creator Yearly (8 videos per month) and Pro Monthly (30 videos per month, up to 90 seconds, up to 5 episodes per series). Unused plan videos do not roll over to the next period.
• Auto-renewal (App Store and Google Play). Subscriptions bought in the iOS or Android app are billed through your Apple or Google account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your store account settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
• Video packs. One-time packs add video credits to your account. Purchased credits never expire and are available on every device you sign in to.
• Free trial. New Pro Monthly subscribers may be offered a 3-day free trial. During the trial you can create 1 video in total (up to 45 seconds, with a watermark, the default narrator voice and the first episode of a series only). Other features, longer videos, all narrator voices, series continuation and the full monthly quota start with the first paid month.
• Trial auto-renewal. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the trial automatically converts into a paid Pro Monthly subscription at the monthly price shown in the app before you start the trial, and then renews every month until you cancel. If you cancel during the trial, you keep trial access until it ends and you are not charged. Trial eligibility is decided by Apple or Google (generally one trial per store account). If you choose another plan during the trial, that plan starts when the trial ends.
• Prices for in-app purchases are shown in the app before purchase and may differ by country. Price changes for subscriptions follow the store's notice and consent rules.
• Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. If a purchase is refunded, the related credits or plan access are removed.
• Fair use. To keep the Service available for everyone, daily limits apply to some actions (for example script and voice previews).

6. Purchases on our website (Paddle)

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

• Plans and prices. The plans and video packs sold on storymakersai.com, what each includes and their prices are listed on our Pricing page at storymakersai.com/pricing. Prices are in US dollars; Paddle may add VAT or sales tax at checkout depending on where you live, and shows the final amount before you pay.
• Auto-renewal. Web subscriptions (Creator Weekly, Creator Yearly, Pro Monthly) renew automatically at the end of each billing period and are charged to the payment method you used, until you cancel.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time using the link in your Paddle receipt email, at paddle.net, or by emailing us. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for and are not charged again.
• Refunds. See our Refund Policy.
• Buyer terms. Web purchases are also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
• Separate from the app stores. A subscription bought on our website is managed through Paddle, not in the App Store or Google Play, and vice versa. Plans and credits are linked to your Story Makers AI account, so they are available wherever you sign in.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running but cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue a paid feature you have already paid for, we will offer a fair alternative or a refund where required by law.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for how you use or publish generated content. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations of these terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
