Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Story Makers AI mobile app and the storymakersai.com website (together, the "Service") handle your data. The Service is operated by Polyque Games Yazılım Animasyon Prodüksiyon Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("Polyque", "we", "us"), Küçükbakkalköy Mah. Selvili Sk. 1. What we collect

Account

When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive a unique account identifier and, if the provider shares them, your name and email address (Apple may give us a private relay address). If you continue as a guest we create an anonymous account identifier.

Your content

The story ideas, choices and script edits you enter, and the hooks, scripts, voice-overs, captions, covers and videos the Service creates for you.

Purchases

Your plan, remaining video credits and purchase history (product, date, store transaction identifier). Payments in the iOS and Android apps are processed by Apple or Google. Purchases on our website are processed by Paddle (see below). We never see your full card details.

Usage and technical data

Per-account usage counters (for daily limits and plan quotas), estimated processing costs, content reports you send, and limited server logs used to keep the Service secure and working.

Website visits

On storymakersai.com we count visits anonymously so we can see how many people are on the site and which links bring them: a random identifier that lasts only for your browser tab session, the section of the page you are viewing, the site language, the referring link and the device type (mobile or desktop). No cookies are used for this, it is not linked to your email, and these records are deleted after 30 days.

App analytics, crash reports and notifications

The app records which screens are viewed and which buttons are tapped, key steps such as starting a story, opening the plans screen or finishing a video, and errors and crashes with device model and app version. This tells us what works and what breaks. If you allow notifications, we store your device's notification token and app language so we can tell you when your video is ready. News and story-idea notifications are sent only if you turn them on in Settings → News & story ideas. You can turn analytics and crash reports off at any time in Settings → Usage analytics & crash reports, and notifications off in your device settings. We do not collect the advertising identifier of your device (IDFA or Android advertising ID) and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Website pre-registration

If you joined the waitlist: your email address, the optional answers in the form (video language, platforms, story idea, price preference), the site language and the referring page.

2. How we use it

• To create your stories, voice-overs and videos and to keep them in your account.
• To manage your plan, quotas and credits across your devices, and to restore purchases.
• To keep the Service safe: automated content moderation, abuse and fraud prevention, and review of content reports.
• To answer support requests and to tell you about the launch if you pre-registered.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used and what it costs, so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. AI processing and service providers

Before the app sends your text to an AI provider for the first time, it asks for your permission and shows what is shared and with whom. You can withdraw this permission at any time in Settings → AI data sharing; the app then asks again before you create a new story. We never send your name, email address or account details to the AI providers.

To create your content we send the text needed for each step to these providers, who process it on our behalf:

• Anthropic (Claude) — writes hooks, scripts and captions and checks text against our content rules. Receives your idea, choices and script text.
• ElevenLabs — creates the AI voice-over. Receives the script text.
• Google Firebase / Google Cloud — sign-in, database, server functions and file storage (EU region).
• RevenueCat — manages in-app purchases. Receives your account identifier and store purchase receipts.
• Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Cloud Messaging — app usage statistics, crash and error reports, and push notifications. They receive an app instance identifier, your account identifier, device and app information, and events from the app. They are not used for advertising.
• Apple and Google — sign-in and payments, under their own privacy policies.
• Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd, United Kingdom) — our online reseller and Merchant of Record for purchases on storymakersai.com. Paddle collects the name, email address, country, billing details and payment information you enter at checkout, processes the payment, calculates tax and handles receipts, cancellations and refunds under its own privacy policy. We receive the order details (product, amount, date, country, Paddle transaction and customer identifiers and your email) so we can unlock your plan or credits; we never receive your full card details.

Some providers are located in the United States; transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

4. The shared story pool

Stories created from the guided questions (not from your own free-text idea) may be stored without any link to your account and offered as ready-made stories to other users. This is how the Service becomes faster and cheaper over time. Stories built from your own written idea stay private to your account. Only content that passes our automated moderation enters the pool. Every ready-made story can be reported from inside the app; a reported story is removed from the pool immediately and reviewed.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete account (if you use the app as a guest: Settings → Delete my guest data). You can also request deletion without the app on our account deletion page. This permanently deletes your account, stories, videos, plan data and remaining credits. Content reports and purchase transaction records are kept without your account identifier where needed for safety, fraud prevention or legal obligations. Voice files cached by text (without personal identifiers) may remain. An App Store or Google Play subscription is not cancelled by deleting your account; cancel it in your store account.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data and to object to certain processing. Write to mert@polyquegame.com; we answer within 30 days.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

We will post changes on this page and update the date above. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
